Payment Questions

  • What credit cards do you accept?
    We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

  • Why does my credit statement show my purchases coming from "PromoVentures Brandgear" instead of Nuvasive or nuvasivegear.com ?
    Your credit card statements will list any purchases made in the NuvasiveGear WebStore web site as coming from "PromoVentures BrandGear 888-443-9777" because that is the DBA name ("Doing Business As" name) on our Merchant Account. Note that our toll free number is associated with every charge in case you need to call us with a question relating to that order.

    BrandGear is the name of a comprehensive "Company WebStore Program" offered by PromoVentures, INC. nuvasivegear.com is one of several company WebStores that we manage for a wide variety of national clients and organizations. We operate one bank Merchant Account for the entire network of company WebStores because it is unrealistic to setup a separate bank merchant account for every single Company WebStore in the network.

  • Can I be invoiced with Net 30 terms for my orders instead of paying online with a credit card?
    Possibly. If you are authorized by Nuvasive management to issue a Purchase Order against their corporate credit line than we enable your account to have "Net 30" terms available as payment option for your purchases.  The person at Nuvasive corporate to check with in this regard is Courtney Moran. 

    If you are a Nuvasive partner, distributor or customer, in order to get setup with Net 30 payment terms, we would need you to complete our standard Credit Application. It takes us between 5-7 business days to check references and establish a credit line. After we complete your reference checks, we would notify you by by email of our credit granting decision and the dollar amount of your credit line, if applicable.  At this time, we do not grant invoice terms greater than Net 30 days.  Terms of Net 60 or Net 90 terms are not available.  We review each account twice a year for payment timeliness in order to maintain your credit limit.

Shipping Questions

  • Real/Virtual Split Shipment Fee
  • Real Merchandise (items in stock with listed inventory quantities) typically takes 2-3 business days to ship while Virtual Merchandise (customizable embroidery products such as polos, hats, and bags) takes up to 15 days to ship. If you are ordering Real Merchandise and Virtual Merchandise together in the same order, by default we will wait to ship your order until all Real and Virtual Merchandise is ready. However, if you would like to receive your Real Merchandise sooner, you can check the box below and pay an additional $5.00 to have us split your order into two shipments: the first shipment for Real Merchandise, then the second shipment for Virtual Merchandise.

  • What shipping methods do you offer?
    At this time, nuvasivegear.com offers all of the standard package delivery methods of UPS. Our shopping cart system connects (via API) to the UPS web site and bases our freight costs off of UPS's most current web published rates. 

    The following transit options are available:

    • UPS Ground Transit (Recommended. The least expensive.)
    • UPS 3 Day Select®
    • UPS 2nd Day Air®
    • UPS 2nd Day Air A.M.®
    • UPS Next Day Saver®
    • UPS Next Day Air®
    • UPS Next Day Air A.M.®

    While we are happy to ship your orders by whatever service level you choose, we strongly recommend using UPS Ground Service as the costs for expedited (air) freight increase signifantly at each level.

    Shipping rates are calculated by connecting to UPS software using what is called an "API" (Application Programming Interface) which connects directly to the UPS web site to get their most current web published rates. The total shipping cost is caculated using the total shipment weight, distance between the origination and destination zip codes and the service level that is selected.  The FOB (Freight on Board), or origination, zip code is 92121. You should be able to get the same rates by going to the UPS web site directly.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?
    If you order goods that are available in stock, then we will pick and pack them the same day as long as the order comes in by 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Standard Time. Refer to the "transit times" maps below to determine how long the shipment will take to arrive at your doorstep.

    For items that are not "In Stock" are considered "Virtual Inventory", the merchanise is produced and/or decorated after it is ordered.  Production times vary on an item by item basis.  In most cases, production and/or decoration of the merchandise will take a 15 day turnaround time before the goods ship.  From there, refer to the transit time maps below to estimate your total order turnaround time.

  • What will the transit time be for my order with UPS?

Product Questions

  • What if I want a product that is not in this web site?
    We can get it for you. We have access to over 25,000 manufacturers and over 350,000 different items that can be decorated with the NuvasiveGear approved logos. Obviously, we cannot put every possible product into this web site for logistical reasons so we only show a smaller more relevant sampling. Just call us at PromoVentures via our toll free number 888-443-9777 to discuss any custom product needs that you might have.

  • What if I want a product decorated with my own unique artwork? 
    If you need logo apparel or promotional products decorated with logos other that the logos that you find in this web site, we can most like produce them for you as long as there is no conflict with our relationship to NuvasiveGear.  Custom orders are subject to "Minimum Order Requirements" which vary per item. The best way to get a custom order going is to call us at 888-443-9777 during normal business hours to discuss your needs.

  • What if I want to buy a quantity that is less then the standard production minimum for any given item that is not in stock?
    We can potentially group your order with other orders to meet the minimum order requirement for a production run. Again, just email us or call 888-443-9777 during normal business hours to discuss any custom product needs.
